What a cutie! Sounds like a good day. My daughter, hubby & I are going to the local park tonight for the Symphony Under the Stars. Wonderful patriotic music and a special guest tonight, one of the actors from the play, Phantom of the Opera, from Broadway will be here singing tonight. My favorite play! We saw it while we were in NY! Wonderful! Afterwards there will be fireworks...I can not wait!
Everyone have a nice weekend!

LOL...the Gremlin is not Rebecca. It is Liz's dog. She had a profile pic once and it looked just like a gremlin from the movie. Too cute. Also....the corn is getting high but it isn't corn for the table. Corn for the animals.

I thought your puppy looked like our Shih Tzu Barnum. We have two Shih Tzus - Barnum & Bailey. Yes, my 11 year old loved the Phantom too (that's why he plays the music).

Yes... it is the last house in Corova "Where the sidewalk ends" it's a Twiddy rental, nothing north of there except Va. We have been renting this house and one other up there at the end of the 4x4 area and we LOVE IT!!!!!!!
This pic of the horses was taken last summer at the other house, where we are gonna be for two weeks this summer.....and I can't wait!!!

What nice pictures! Have never been to Carova. We have always stayed south on Hatteras Island in Avon. Always thought about going north to the 4X4 beach but haven't done so yet. Do you find that you are too isolated? Husband and I thought about making a trip of off season and see if we like the area. Sure look beautiful.

Every year more and more houses are built up there on the north beach. When we started renting it was 1/4mile between houses, now the new houses are much closer.
One really cool thing I noticed as soon as we started renting up there was that we spent less money on each trip. By only coming back to town one day during the week we didn't shop as much or goofy golf as much and we hardly eat out, just one night down at elizabeths cafe.
Just a great laid-back vacation with my family.
It's only 10 miles up...but a world away....lol
